In spring 2013, Lan Projekt delivered Avast Endpoint Protection Plus software to one of its clients and installed there Small Office Administration console for administering the antivirus software. This software was installed on a virtual computer working under Microsoft Server 2008 R2. As part of the outsourcing contract, Lan Projekt administrators remotely manage Avast software, daily analysing the reports from the operation of Avast defences and taking all necessary corrective actions.
Till May 2013, this monitoring service was started up for two clients.
The monitoring includes Oki, Xerox and HP network printers. In the event of running out of ink, Lan Projekt preventively orders the running out consumables and delivers them to the Client’s location. This ensures printing of important documents without nervousness and fear of running out of ink.
