In the 4th quarter 2012, Lan Projekt implemented a project for one of its clients, the goal of which was streamlining the monitoring of production costs. The key aspect was monitoring the time of operations performed in the production of short series or single elements (non-serial production)
The talks with the Client brought forth the authoring project of a web application for collecting the data about the duration of individual operations, breaks, preparatory operations and transport of elements, divided into employees, machines, orders, produced element (article) or drawing. The application will make possible the reporting of costs and exporting of the collected data for further processing (in excel format).
Thanks to the introduction of glossaries and centralisation of data input, problems with lack of equivalence of descriptions were avoided. The application was deployed on a virtual server operating in virtual environment MS2008R2.
